money-maker is operated by 42mate ("we", "us"). This policy explains what
information we collect when you use money-maker, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect
Account information. When you register with email and password, we store your
name, email address, and a hashed password. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name,
email address, and Google account identifier from Google — we never see your Google password.
Watchlist data. The investments, watchlists, pins, and manually entered bond
values you create. This data is yours; we use it only to render your dashboard and, if you
choose to share a watchlist, to serve that shared page to whoever holds the link.
Billing information. If you subscribe to Ad-Free, payment details are collected
and processed entirely by Stripe, our payment processor — we never receive or store your card
number. We retain your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers to manage your subscription.
Usage data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps)
for security and debugging.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies for three purposes:
Essential. Session and CSRF-protection cookies required for login and to keep
the site working. These cannot be disabled without breaking the site.
Analytics. Google Analytics (GA4), which helps us understand how the site is
used in aggregate. GA4 is loaded only in production.
Advertising. For visitors without an active Ad-Free subscription, Google
AdSense may serve ads and use cookies to do so, including for personalized advertising subject
to your Google ad settings. Subscribing to Ad-Free stops all ad serving on your account.
How we use your information
To provide and operate the investment-comparison dashboard you request.
To process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship via Stripe.
To understand aggregate usage and improve the product (Google Analytics).
To serve advertising to free-tier users (Google AdSense) that keeps money-maker free to use.
To communicate essential account and billing notices.
Third parties we share data with
We do not sell your personal information. We share the minimum necessary data with:
Google — for sign-in (if you choose Google login), Analytics, and AdSense.
Stripe — for payment processing, if you subscribe to Ad-Free.
Yahoo Finance — we query public market-data endpoints to fetch prices; no
personal data about you is sent to this source.
Public watchlists
If you choose to publish a watchlist via a share link, anyone who has that link can view its
contents (symbols, prices, your custom name for the list). Publishing a watchlist does not reveal
your account email or identity to viewers.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your
account, and everything tied to it (watchlists, shares, billing links), from your Profile page at
any time — this also cancels any active subscription first, so you are never billed after deletion.
Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time through the app, or by emailing
[email protected]. Depending on your location, you may have
additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
Children
money-maker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this policy
We will update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes materially.
